CELLPHONE VIOLATIONS

The statute NJSA 39:4-97.3 for operating a cell phone while driving is becoming a more common type of offense. It is illegal to speak on cell phones while driving without a hands free device or texting or operating the phone in any manner while operating a vehicle. Unfortunately too many people risk the life or safety of themselves or others by violating this statute. There are high fines and a third offense could result in loss of driver's license  up to 90 days and three motor vehicle  points.

Attorney Steven D. Rothblatt has the experience, knowledge and expertise to help you and defend you if charged with a cell phone violation or any other types of traffic offenses in municipal court.
