LEAVING THE SCENE OF AN ACCIDENT AND FAILURE TO REPORT AN ACCIDENT.

The statute NJSA 39:4-129 is violated if the driver knowingly leaves the scene of an accident resulting in personal injury or property damage and is a very serious offense which results in a loss of license for one year if there is personal injury and six months if there is property damage only.  Often the police also charge the driver with failing to report an accident in violation of 39:4-130 which involves no loss of license

Attorney Steven D. Rothblatt has the experience, knowledge and expertise to help you and defend you if charged leaving the scene of an accident or failure to report an accident or any other types of traffic offenses in municipal court.
